One of the most basic analogies we can get concerning our blood vessels and muscles is the nature of a popular material known as rubber. Rubber is known for its elasticity. If you extend it will come back to its authentic form.
But leave that rubber for quite some time, do not use it. Allow it to be exposed to conditions like extreme heat and cold. A common rubber will eventually be easily wrecked and worn out. After doing those things you will be shocked if you try to stretch it.
The rubber will not be the same anymore. It won't be as elastic as before. It will be ripped apart easily. Like the rubber, our muscles and blood vessels will encounter the same if remained idle, with loss of movement and lots of exposure to extreme conditions.
You may wonder why Hypertension develops to older individuals. There is really a easy reason for it. It’s because as these people grow old, their activities are also lessening. As compared to when they were still young, their movements have become reduced, or they choose to do so.
The answer is there, the reason why older people quickly get this joint pain, muscle pains and rigid blood vessels is because they decided to become idle. Some even suddenly stop being productive in sports and activities that require lots of physical movements like boot camp.
The outcomes will be destructive; Parkinson’s disease, Heart problems and Hypertension are just some of the cases. The absence of movement and activity will cause our muscles, like rubber, to become rigid; same is true with our blood vessels.
If the vessels are not in great condition, it is safe to presume that the blood flow will also not be good. Now add this with the stressful elements such as cholesterol deposit, genetic factors, harmful lifestyle and you can name various diseases that may affect you.
So don't stop your activities rapidly. If you are old and you can't prolong anymore, just minimize them not entirely stop them. Boot camp calls for high activities so it is recommended that you should taper it before completely stopping. This way your natural rubber will not simply be worn out.
